Self Drive 4x4

The 4X4 Raid / Self drive in Costa Rica is where the customer can drive her/his own vehicle following a previously established route, which gives her/him the freedom to visit the country at her/his own pace, but always protected by our local team.

Due to the organization involved and the local team that accompanies each tour, a minimum and maximum number of vehicles is required depending on the duration of the "Raid"

A 11-day tour through the northern part of the country, visiting mountains, beaches and the contrast of climate, landscape and temperatures.

Minimum number of vehicles: 2 / 4 people

Maximum number of vehicles: 10 /20 people

Day 1: Arrival in San Jose

Day 2: San José - Volcan Poás - Fortuna

Day 3: Free day in Fortuna

Day 4: Fortuna - Volcan Tenorio - Rincón de la Vieja

Day 5: Rincón de la Vieja - Tamarindo

Day 6: Tamarindo - Nicoya Peninsula

Day 7:  Nicoya Peninsula - Monteverde

Day 8: Monteverde - Quepos

Day 9: Free day in Quepos

Day 10: Quepos - San José

Day 11: Airport

Three weeks of travel, with routes of various levels of difficulty, where we can travel a large part of Costa Rica and enjoy the contrasts of both the Caribbean and the Pacific Coasts.

Day 6: Rincón de la Vieja - Santa Rosa National Park (beach)

Day 7: PN Santa Rosa - Tamarindo (beach)

Day 8: Tamarindo - Nicoya Peninsula

Day 9: Nicoya Peninsula – Monteverde or Pájaros

Day 10: Monteverde - Manuel Antonio National Park  (beach)

Day 11: Free day in Manuel Antonio (beautiful  beach, waterfalls, Canyoning)

Day 12: Manuel Antonio - Drake (Osa Peninsula)

Day 13: Corcovado National  Park  (Sirena area or Caño island)

Day 14: Drake - San Vito (hacienda la Amistad)

Day 15: Tour in protected zone “Las Tablas”

Day 16: Tour in protected zone “Las Tablas” - Altamira
